Gates Synchro-Power® PU belt identification: The back of the belt indicates pitch, length as well as the production code. They are easily recognised by the distinctive blue colour.

Product quality is apparent through numerous details.  With very tight tolerances, perfect tooth meshing is provided.
Gates Synchro-Power® blue sleeves are the newest to join the polyurethane timing belt family. Gates Synchro-Power® timing belts are available up to 380mm in width.

Construction

  • A dirt free running system without debris accumulation is possible through the high resistance to abrasion from the PU body
  • Very high system stability is offered by reduced tooth flexing caused by the exceptionally rigid PU teeth
  • Synchro-Power® polyurethane timing belt sleeves
  • Don’t have a joint so are perfectly endless
  • Feature cords made from tensile steel
  • Synchro-Power® Long Length polyurethane open ended timing belts
  • Are produced as open ended extruded timing belts
  • Are offered with aramid tensile, stainless steel or steel cords – depending on the required application
  • Tensile cords apply very little, or zero, side forcer as they are parallel to the belt edges and perfectly perpendicular to the timing belt teeth
  • An optional nylon tooth (and / or a nylon back facing option) protect the surface against wear and significantly reinforce it.
